The long-awaited sequel to the 2007 post-apocalyptic thriller has finally arrived. I Am Legend 2 brings back Will Smith as Dr. Robert Neville—this time, in an alternate timeline where he survived. Joining him is Michael B. Jordan, whose character is shrouded in mystery but holds the key to humanity’s future.

The trailer opens with a haunting, desolate view of an overgrown New York City, reclaimed by nature. A chilling radio transmission echoes: “If there’s anyone out there… you are not alone.” The camera slowly reveals Neville, older, hardened, but still fighting. The world has changed, and so have the creatures lurking in the darkness.

This time, the infected are more evolved—smarter, faster, and more organized. As Neville and Jordan’s character navigate the ruins, they uncover terrifying new threats and hidden survivors who have adapted to life in the shadows. The tension builds as eerie nighttime sequences show the creatures hunting in packs, communicating in ways never seen before.

“We thought we understood them,” Neville says grimly. “We were wrong.”
